Well I look for to the SBS and to receiving the fly. I really like, nice and simple yet has a strong attraction and great profile. Those are the essential makings of a good fly.

I'm going to make a couple of these on #10s and #8s for the stoneflies in March.

Received flies from la jolla today, thanks man! I know that Kerry's are in the mail from Canada, so I think that it's a wrap! I'll let you know when Kerry's come in and when I am sending out. I am hoping for Monday ... but I might have to go fishing if the weather cooperates, I'm sure you all would understand.

Thanks for tying and participating in this swap. It's going to be a good set.

Hey all, I am still waiting on Kerry's flies, I think it took a little longer than expected last time as well. So let's just sit tight. I will turn them around as quickly as I can once they come in, hopefully I will be doing it tonight.

So ... I will be using a little of my day off today to go test some of these flies, I hope you all don't mind! Maybe just maybe with a little luck I can report back on the success of some of your ties.

Well, fishing at all this time of the year is good news. I got out for a couple hours in the afternoon and explored a spring fed side channel of Clark Fork, pretty near my home. I walk my dogs there a lot and have been waiting for a chance to explore this channel for while. Found some promising looking water but no fish...pretty rusty chucking the nymph rig, I haven't fished since last autumn! So I got on the water for the first time this year and hopefully shook some rust off. Next time!

Alright, I received Kerry's "Blue Light Special" package today (and envelope). So I'm planning on taking the last pictures tonight and get theflies sorted out. I'll let you know when they mail.
