Ok.. here's what we have:

1. Aroostookbasser: Jassids
2. Joni: Gartside Gurglers
3. McFly: Hi-vis Spiders

Who else...looking for 12?

Also need one of our moderators to step-up......please. We need a swapmeister.

For clarity.......lets go for terrestrials made from foam, but if all we can get are just terretrial pattens we'll take it. Diversity is the key to success in all fishing.

I vote aroostookbasser as swapmiester!!!

If he does it I may even tie a fly for the swap. I don't think it is a requirement that a moderator should be swapmiester. The one most adamant about having a swap seems the most likely candidate to host the swap.

Thanks,
Terry

Hey guys and gals,
There is nothing I wouldn't do to promote this thing called flyfishing. That includes tying as a craft and an art. If need be I would do it...... but as I have stated in the past in the best interests of the forum. All swapmeisters should be "accountable" and therefore that makes it wise to use nothing but Moderators or Admin. hosts.

Where are all the moderators?

I agree and as I said I would love to but I am so busy tying at night for customers, I just know I would screw something up on this one.
That last swap went FAST! and for the most part easy (except for me miss placing addresses). I have been in one on another forum that seems like it is taking for ever.
If this is terrestrials, the Gartside Gurgler doesn't work so I will do a HOPPER DROPPER, but I can't host this one, sorry.

Ok folks are we gonna get this off the ground? Can we get one of moderators to step up?

How about we let this go at it's own pace..........I'm done pushing.

Hey wanted to touch base on this one. I'm not too good at foam flies. My experience is primarily limited to a few ant and beetle patterns. I've been checking out some foam fly sites for any interesting patterns that might not be a duplicate of flies that others are tying. If someone takes on this swap, I'll probably jump on board. Meanwhile, I'm going to keep checking out potential patterns.

cool.....but this swap includes terrestrials. Foam is part of it ...but all terra firma patterns are great.

Working on a cool deer hair bug.....but will stick with the jassids. All 12 are tyed and waiting.

If I can't get a volunteer to host this swap......how do you become a moderator?
