Got my flies today what a great bunch of ties has to be one of the best swaps ever. As soon as the rain stops here this weekend going to be using them will let you all know how they work. Last week I tried my GRHE softhackle on a special regs. stream here in Pa. fished it on a 9' 4X tippet with some sink putty about a foot from the fly cast across and down mended a slight bow in the line and held on for the swing caught about 15 nice bows in an hour along with a nice brookie about 14-15" long was a nice afternoon out. Thank you all again for the great flies and Joni for the furled leader can't wait to use that as well . Hat's off to you Joni for doing a superb job running this swap hope to do it again!

Nice looking Brookie Flityer. That swing technique you used with your GRHE is the same we use to fish the Steve's Caddis soft hackle. I hope you can make it back out this weekend. The weather has been a challenge for all of us this year, we have more snow in the forecast for tonight and in the morning here .
