I've never fished Bluegills on a fly; my only experience with them was when I was a kid fishing worms off a bobber with a casting rod at a local pond. Do they bite on terrestrials? If so, I have a foam sub-bodied catepillar pattern that I'm working on that I could put into this swap; in whatever size works for Bluegills. Let me know if that would fill the bill.

Sure! I think they eat anything. I have caught little ones on a Hopper as big as they are.
Also Nymphs like Haresears, specially black
Even a smaller Chartreuse and Yellow Gartside Softhackle
Would Love your fly in on this!
So, can I add you to the list?

Absolutely!

Just tell me the best hook size for Bluegills and I'll start tying up a dozen of those "pillas" for the swap.
