I received my flies today - they look awesome!!!

In addition, I zipped over to the PO and shipped the extras to Reeling and Healing Midwest. I did not count the extras, but we sent a nice variety of flies. Thanks to all who participated by making extras! Here is their link if you want more info about their organization: Reeling and Healing Midwest - Fly Fishing Retreats for the Cancer Survivor Community

and here is a photo of the flies we sent - look at them, is that cool, or what! Good job!!!

THANK YOU so much Blue Dun. Sorry to say, we lost a friend, a writer, a fly tying merchant and one of the best fly tiers and all around great guy DENNIS BRAKKE last Friday.
He will be very missed!

I forgot to add in my previous post that I enclosed a letter with the flies stating that they were from the Bluegill Swap participants on this forum.

Joni, I am sorry to hear about Dennis.

Two things...............great flies.

While I did not know Dennis Brakke, sounds like a great guy. I hope he was old, his life was full and his passing was easy. Prayers for his soul, his friends and family.

Not old, 58. The big "C" knocked him down.
Thanks everyone.
I replaced the pictures of the Gill Getter and the Coffee Bean.
