No, not Canada Post. Unfortunately can't blame the response time on the Gov't or a Crown Corporation.

Have to take the 'rap' for slow response on my own.

The flies have landed and they are all impressive. Thanks to all who participated. Will definitely be giving some of these a try - after I make a couple of "similars"

I don't know how the rest of you go about this, but, for myself I keep all of the 'swap' flies on a corkboard. Grouped according to whatever swap they are from. I don't fish the arrivals, I attempt to replicate the patterns and use my replicas.

Fly swaps have been great for me, since I have gotten back into fly fishing. I have learned lots and gotten much enjoyment from being involved.

Cream Caddis

Hook- #12 mustard scud
Underbody- copper wire
Rib- copper wire
Body- white rabbit dubbing on black thread
Throax- peacock wound on to copper wire
Head- black thread

Instructions:

Start thread, tie copper wire in halfway down hook, wind to about where the head will finnish then wind down the bend of the hook, secure with the thread apply wax to thread and dubbing, twist dubbing slightly (not too tight),wind on to the throax area and secure, rib to give good segments, tie in peacock feather wind on to copper wire, wind to head area and secure, form a medium head and whip finnish
