Here are the patterns that were tied by the forum members who participated in the Dry Fly Swap 2009. It looks to me like there are going to be a lot of hook-ups with these patterns!

Thanks Jimmie. It's a lot of fun having the patterns come rolling in a dozen at a time as you get towards the due date for the swap.

We got a good mix of mayfly and caddis patterns this time. Maybe someone will host a stonefly swap later this year. Bear has a terrestrial swap underway right now, with a due date of the end of June. So, there's another batch coming soon. There's also a bass bug swap and, I think, one or two others in process.

I'll get some flies out to you this weekend. Then we can run the "International Fly Swap Experiment". Your ties are very, very nice. I'm sure that I'll get some takers at the stream with them. If you send me the recipies, I'll post your ties on the forum for the other members to see.

You should seriously consider being part of one of the swaps on this forum. It would be great for all of us to get some patterns from across the pond.

Tail: 4 Microfibbets, divided
Abdomen / Thorax: Light Olive dubbing
Wing / Post: 1" Craftfoam strip; 1/8" or thinner - tan
Hackle: extra long; tied in bushy

Chris NZ contacted me to convince me to be in the international swap...I agreed.Hope the "pond" isn't too wide for as I'm not a great caster It'll hard to reach the other side
