Looks like a good tie to me! I like beadheads - they just plain work. I think it's the attraction to the sparkle reflection that the fish see in the water. And if its a tungstun bead, then it helps to keep the fly down in the water; which I think really helps when fishing Buggers.

I'll play if you want to do a bakers dozen. If not, I'll get in the next one.

D,

It's OK with me, 12 flies or 13 flies is pretty much the same number, but let me ask the other swap members if it's OK with them.

If anyone has any objection to making it a baker's dozen for this swap, then let me know this weekend. If I don't hear from anyone, then Webrx is in the swap.

Thanks,

Pocono

Did you say, "wooly"? Or did you say, "buggers?".
I realized that I owe so much to this pattern when I read this thread.

Is the pool still open?

I have my killer micro UV bugger for clients with small mouth both freshy and salty.

Swapmeister is OK with 14 if everyone else is; but that will have to be the limit. Let me know if anyone has any problems with that, because we're definitely pushing the limit here. I'll wait until the end of the day tomorrow to make it official, so that everyone has a chance to input into this decision.

Maybe we'll do another Bugger swap later in the year for those who didn't get in on this one. This one filled up in about 36 hours; not expected, but a good sign that a lot of us fish Buggers and have a favorite tie.

By the way, I got two nice Browns on a #10 brown and flashabou Bugger today; in the middle of a pretty heavy rain.

There should be some great flies coming out of this swap!
