At 20 fly rods, I ran out of fingers and toes so I quit counting!

25 or 30 for a guess...some of the cane rods aren't finished/restored, some of the glass rods aren't fishable but I can't bring myself to throw them away...one of my Sage rods is broken and I've got a 7 wt. blank on order. I prolly have some I've forgotten about...and...I know I need more. Love it !

Cheers,

MontanaMoose

I work with a guy that claims to have 150 rod and reel combos plus a spare spool to match each of those combos. He also says that 95% of his outfits are high end, if that is true he has sunked over $100,000 into fly fishing.

I refuse to think about how much I have invested. I know that TWO of my bamboos set me back the price of a good used car! LOL

But what realistic use or good is a car when yer a flyfisherperson anyway...now spendy cane makes the heart soar, the pulse race and the corners of the mouth turn up in a grin when ya slide beauty from her soft cotton rod sock !

Cheers to the lady that
raises cane !

I havent been out to the water with my rods yet and I have 2, a 9' 5wt and a 9' 7wt. Couldn't decide between the 2 so I got both.
