How Many Fly Rods Do You Own

To my previous list I have to add a few. A Thomas and Thomas 14' 3 pc. 9wt. two hander, an R.L. Winston 10' 4 pc 7 wt. single hander, and the blanks on the way for a 17' 4 pc. 11wt. two hander and an R.L. Winston 4 pc. 9' 10wt. single hand rod. Plus the reels to go with them.

I only have 2 one was/is my great grandfathers handmade rod (he built it) and my 6-7 weight crystal river. I may need to sell a few softball bats (my other passion) to get something higher end.

Now that this thread has resurfaced, I should update my info, as I've added a rod. I now own 3, a 3/4 wt Cortland graphite, a 5wt Orvis Clearwater II, and my almost 50 y/o 7wt Shakespeare "Presidential" fiberglass.

I was looking on-line at the Allen 7wt yesterday, and today i stopped in at an Orvis shop and looked at their new Clearwater 7wt. Unsure what I'll do or when I'll do it, but if I don't purchase a 7or 8 wt before next February's Sommerset Show, then I'll definetly be in the active market when I get there.

Like everyone else my rods seem to be reproducing at a fairly regular rate, I'm currently at 11 with a new Sage One 10 ft 5 wt arriving any day.
This addiction has to stop!

I'll add a 7'6" 3wt TFO to my list to bring it to 10. with the reddington surge 3/4, a sweet little rig for under $200.

Most used rods.
TFO 3wt, small creek trout, mostly small dries or single dropper.
Cabelas 5wt, rivers, lakes, and bigger trout, good blend of streamer/nymph/and dry dropper ability.
Cabelas 6wt, lake trout, high water trout, carp, and bass, serious streamer chucker!
Reddington 7wt, if I am on the pontoon, usually looking for new warmwater species. Hopefully a pike, musky, walleye, wiper, or catfish this summer?!

Hopefully de-virginize my 10wt in Mexico this june. Praying for a few good shots at tarpon and bonefish, permit or barracuda would be a serious bonus.

As recently as a year ago it was my goal to reduce the number of rods in my collection, but just like my weight it's grown instead.

While my weight has stayed relatively constant (unfortunately, as I'm trying to bulk up for the upcoming Gaelic football season), my collection of rods has grown exponentially over the past year... next is a 12wt for tarpon. The current count sits at 7, likely to increase very soon!
