What I'm looking for is some more authors to read .
What do you think of Paul Schullery,Voelker,Thomas,Travers,Lamb.?
Want to get more reading material.
Let me know what you think,When waters are blown out i love to read about my favorite thing....Flyfishing.

Do you want fiction, non-fiction, how-to's, etc. ?

While not the 'best'-- I am currently reading (re-reading) The River Why-- David James Duncan. The resurgence of interest on my part has to do with a movie of the book being released soon (I think soon, might be out already...)

I like the writing style-- the inner narrative voice in the writing.

If you tie, there are more tying 'guides' than one has time to read in a lifetime.

Also, here is a good website to keep you entertained. Lot's of good info as well... The North American Fly Fishing Forum. Fly fishing news and views across the USA and Canada

Paul Schullery is a good friend and a fine writer (he and I both had the same job - executive director, American Museum of Fly Fishing).

Nick Lyons - not only one of our most important fly fishing book publishers, but a great writer in his own, well, write. And a really interesting man.

Neither of these authors write "how to's". I can't read that stuff.

yours from the library,
Gary
