Default Rod Tube

I've been looking at rod tubes today (my rod came with cloth one)and most look pretty simple. So I got to thinking maybe I could save a couple bucks and make one. I have a basic design laid out, but I was just wondering has anyone else has done this?
Thanks, Cabot

I use ABS plumbing pipe and fittings to make rod tubes. Pretty much the same principle. I will fit one on my motorcycle(most of my rods are two piece)

Pszy22, that is pretty much what I planned on doing. Thanks for sharing your step-by-step plans.
