Default Hill Country Summer

Headed out this past Saturday, the heat got up earlier than I did. (77 degrees at 5:57 AM)

Very nice e-story there Cliff. The format was great with the soundtrack and pic. And it looks like you had a great time too. Cool.

Hi Cliff
Great pictures of what sounds like a great day trip... I liked your review. That type of fishing reminds me of way back when you got a 10-11 ft bamboo stick with a piece of cord on the end with a hook & worm & went to a farm pond to lift gills. I haven't done that in a while..
Great post but

Steve Earle is an acquired taste, kinda like hoppy beer: You get to like the bitter bite over all the blandness of the alternatives.

By the way Cliff...If you like Steve Earle you've got to pick up Live at the Bluebird Cafe - Steve, Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt together...Don't get much better for Texas boys than that!!!!!!!

Its the Upper Guad. You're right, Bluebird is a great album, had it for years. Been too long, I need to give it a listen.
