Default Waders at under $200.00

I am in the market for a new pair of breathable chest waders. I was going to buy a pair of high $ ones but asked myself why. I purchased a pair of Whitewater waist highs at Bass Pro for $49.00 on sale and they have been leak free for 3 years. I have to think there are also good values in a chest high. How about some recommendations.

You didn't say how much you use them, but I use the Orvis Endura's. It's the least expensive one's, but they've held up well, although I don't get to wade as much as most.

on sale for $70.

Check Bass Pro or Cabela's if you have either near you. I have a pair I got at Cabela's 4 years ago; breathables, stocking foot, I think I paid 160.00 for them. Before that I used Hodgemans; well I still have them as backups and loaners. I have had them for at least 10 years.

Bass Pro has a breathable with lace up boots attached. I have used these for 3 years now with no problems. I love the fact that the boots are attached but you can snug them up. $179 I believe

Buy the Simms from LL Bean: they're guaranteed for life that way . I bought a pair of Simms Rivershed boots a few months ago, and they are
excellent! While they were a bit stiff for the first few trip, they've become so supple, that I can't even feel them. They are also offer fantastic support, and
that's the reason I bought them in the first place. They were on sale for $109, and that was even better.

I have been using Hodgman Wadelite waders for years. The first pair developed a tiny leak around the crotch seam....real tiny. They're only $100,
so I bought another pair. LL Bean carries them as well.
