Default Light for Night fishing

I amlooking for a bill light that I can use for night fishing. The petzels work well but not with a hat. Any modle out there that has worked for you. I am tired of putting one between my teeth.

How about something like this:
- Panthervision

Or do a Google search for "hat light led", there are a number of companies that sell hats with lights.

I have the clip on led lights and they are ok but you can not fold them fodw for better psoitioning the light. With them you have to crook you neck down and look out the top of the glasses. When I was on the stream one raliy morning a guy next to me had a hat that had an arm you could move around. It was nice wish I would have questioned him about it.

I just use an inexpensive "Rayovac 3 in 1 LED headlamp", but took out the middle strap that runs over the top of the head so i could wear it around my neck. I think it was around 16 bucks and runs on 3 AAA batteries (included). Some other models that run on bigger batteries (and more of them) can turn you into a bobble head after awhile and it can be hard to find replacements if the batteries are something unusual.

It has a red LED as the first "on" switch (which I like a lot since it doesn't seem to spook fish or ruin night vision), then a white close up, then a bright white Krypton light for distance. The head of the lamp can pivot up and down 90 degrees, so it's pretty adjustible.

Maybe the Petzel you already have could be worn around your neck if that would be easier?

Never thought of just wearing around your neck. I 'll have to try that and see how it works. Thanks for the tip.
