Default Caught a Striper at the Local Creek!

The local creek (Neshaminy Creek: Bucks County, PA) runs into the Delaware
River and is tidal for the first few miles. Stripers and even blue claw crabs
come up this section of the Neshaminy, and while I've seen both, it wasn't
until last evening that I caught a striper...albeit smallish:

The fish was caught with my 90% of the time #10 olive Wooly Bugger. He
made several runs, and I thought I had a smallmouth. I'd love to catch one
of the huge stripers that can be seen travelling along this stretch of the
Neshaminy. I was using an 8'6" 5wt, and this little guy bent that rod more
than once !!!

P.S. If you're wondering about the manicured nails on my right hand, I play classical guitar, and those
are my picks .

Frank: Very cool picture! I have never fished for strippers but I have heard they are very strong fighters. Well done.

Hey Guys,
My son is in the USAF, and is on leave, but for some reason he had me on the
phone when I hooked that striper. I wanted to pull out the camera sooner,
but only have two hands. I held the phone near the reel and said, "Listen
to this" as the fish pulled line off . I did get the kid off the phone, and took
some video, but it takes a while to upload to photobucket.
