I use the cliffs bugger barns for all my big streamers. I looked around and that was the best option I found. However I do most my fishing from a drift boat so I don't need my box to fit in a vest. For wading I'd have to figure something else out that would fit in a vest. If you find something good for that post it here please.

A company called Fly Fitters makes a box called the Superior. It is 13.62" x 11.49" x 3.26". It uses slit foam to hold flies. It can be purchased single sided, so there is less chance of crushing flies, or it can be purchased double sized for increased capacity. Many of my customers uses this for their Striped Bass or bluewater boxes.

Its Atlantic boxes is even bigger.

Default Me three!

I'm also fishing from boats. The boxes MP is suggesting are great for big flies or big assortments, or both. I have them labeled for bass, bonefish, trolling flies, etc. They are great boxes, but they always seem expensive for what they are. But I have like 6 of 'em, so go figure.

I use an old plastic VCR box with a double layer of craft foam glued in for flies up to 8"

I use the same boxes you use for crank baits. They are cheap and big.

i have a few large fly boxes... they dont work well... i just today built something to hold my flies... its waterproof and holds 16 flies rigged with leaders.. yes its a leader stretcher... lol.. here is a pic... total cost was about $12( the box was $10).. i made it small so i could still put it in my vest.. its double sided... but i may build another larger one to hold bulk..

just put one fly in it to show, its about 7inch... can toss it all around and u dont have to worry about flies coming loose and getting all tangled.. not to add with the leaders already attached using a loop to loop you can change flies in seconds..
