Thumbs up Back from paradise

My son and I spent a week in Hotel Platzer in Tyrol. It’s a wellknown place in Austria. This hotel owns the Gerlos river , its four tributaries and three marvellous mountain lakes. It means you can fish a different place everyday in a paradisal landscape. You can fish for brown, rainbow and brook trout ,there are some graylings in one of the lakes. As usual we decided to fish the fastest and wildest areas. There’s a huge density of fish with some big ones over 50 cm mainly in the Gerlos but you may catch some over 40 cm in the tributaries and these “muscle trout”will give you much pleasure. We only fished on dry ,mainly with three patterns and the orange winged jpb hivi was again the deadly weapon! As this year was our tenth visit here,Frantz allowed us to fish the Neederbach where nobody goes fishing,it was an unforgettable moment,it’s a marvellous mountain stream with crystal clear water .We enjoyed every minute of this unique experience, alone in the world in this wild environment. The hotel is very comfortable, the cooking delicious, and the staff friendly…the beer excellent, charming Cornelia's smile is included! You can visit their website: www.hotelplatzer.at/
Here are some photos of our trip,I'll post others in the thread share your photos and in the gallery

What a pretty spot that is. Must be near the Alps? Here in the US it's easy to remember some of the scenes in the movie, "Sound of Music", to visualize Austria. It's just beautiful. Great looking fish you caught.
