Reel Replacement parts - Handle

Does anyone know of a site that will make or repair fly reel handles? My son lost his handle to his Martin MR56 fly reel. Martin has a email address. But they are not responsive.

email.martin@zebco.com

I probably could make one but I rather fish. So would he. He actually did well without it. 40+ fish day! I only got a dozen. All returned.

Re: Reel Replacement parts - Handle

They don't answer emails but I called them about an owners manual for my fly reel and they sent it to me free. Took their sweet time doing it but I did get it. (long enough that when I got it I forgot what it was.) Here is the number from their site.

800-588-9030, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST.

Good luck to ya, :)

Re: Reel Replacement parts - Handle

Archuleta's Reel Works in Grants Pass, Oregon, does great work. I have seen some abused reels come back very functional.

If you can't get any help from Martin, check Archuleta's out.

Some shops have spare handles sitting around. I have noticed that some brands interchange with others.
