Hi Taskienne,

Glad to see you posting again.

Custom Tackle Supply list the GLX 2 piece rod in a 9 foot 6wt. You will have to check with them to see if it is in stock. I have never purchased anything from this supplier.

Frank

Taskienne,

I'd suggest going direct to the supplier; GLoomis. If they won't sell to you direct, then they may be able to steer you towards the best dealer; perhaps one located in France. They have a place on their site where you can contact them with questions.

Also, PM "jbbfly" and see if he know where you can source a GLX blank in France (or Europe).

Here's the GLoomis site for the blanks that they offer:

http://products.gloomis.com/gl/produ...=1250556651845

I have a 9'0" Max GLX (4 piece) that I like a lot for fishing with sinking tip lines.

Good luck!

Pocono

That will be a tough one to find. Custom Tackle was bought out by Mudhole a few weeks ago, Custom's website hasn't been updated for years. Mudhole does have the GLX 4 pce and they do ship international. G Loomis isn't selling blanks anymore, once the supply is gone from the distributors they won't be available. G. Loomis has been owned by Shimano for a number of years.

Personally I would wait a few weeks until the Northfork Composites blanks become available. The distributor list has been posted on its website and they should be available mid-September. Its Gary Loomis' new blank company (blanks only, no complete rods). They are going to be like the classic Loomis blanks but with the latest graphites.
