Default What Rods or Blank to make a good bargain ?

Hello,

I was interested by a Loomis GLX Classic Rod. But I'm student, it's to expensive. I have seen the blank, but this is no producted in 2 pieces.

So, I search actually a 9' for line 5 (5-6 is better than 4-5) ; action fast ; power med-stiff ; light ; in 2 pieces...

Do you know some brand of Rods or Blanks, whit a good quality to purchase for ? I'm seaching no expensive !!! (I like GLX classic and Sage RPL+).

I'd water !

I think you'd be very happy with a Pac Bay Rainforest
These are close-outs at a nice reduced price.
I built myself an 8wt on this blank and it's one of my favorite rods

Rip Tide :

Yes, I know IM6 carbon fiber... The varnished green blank, that have been sold by all brands at all sort of price !!!

But (you have seen at my buget), I'm search an high-performance Rods (or blank). I'd prefer black and mat, and an other fiber...

Ciao.

.... no, I didn't see your budget, You posted that afterwards
I did see that you were a student and were not interested in something too expensive

Look at the Temple Fork Outfitters line of rods, there may be something within your budget there.

Salut Clément, bienvenue parmi le petit groupe de français membres de ce super forum(je n'avais pas vu ton post de présentation)je continue en anglais pour faire comme tout le monde, sinon Frank va me tirer les oreilles
For $400 you can easily find a very good rod on e bay if you're patient .
.There are great deals ,I bought some Scott for half their price and friends bought Redington or Sage too.I think you can find a Loomis too.I know very reliable dealers, send me a pm if you're interested.

Hello,

Thank you for your answers. But I know Temple Fork, so I don't really like...

Really ma question is : Do you know brand, whit very high quality Rods, very hign performant (like GLX or Z-AZIX) but no really known by everyone... And no known in Europe...

I think there is small and familial brand like Devaux in France, whose product really good material...

Ciao.

These are great fast-action blanks that perform like the GLX and faster Sages. They only come in 4-piece, but are in your price range, and I guarantee almost no one in France has heard of them, let alone has built one to fish with.

Bonne chance pour votre recherche.
