Help me pick a 3 weight...or do i need it at all?

I mostly use one of my 5wt rods but I have a great little 6'6" Streamlight from LL Bean I use for small river and creek fishing.
I use it for both trout and bass and it handles them fine and makes for a lot of fun.

I caved in and purchased a St. Croix legend ultra 3 weight...i love it. Fitted it with a pflueger medalist 1492 and a S.A mastry DT line
