Default Is it possible to convert a 1492 medalist to LH retrieve?

I know that technically pfleueger says you cant, but does anyone know how?

You can and can't.

You can flip the click pawls the opposite direction to make it left hand retrieve.

You can't move the line guard though.

The line guard gives it an old school look. Back in the day, all reels were made for right hand retrieve.

It isn't necessary.
