Awesome worldwide fishing lots for the Wild Trout Trust
Just a heads up to the general discussion folk who may be on the lookout for a unique fishing experience whilst helping a good cause this year:
Trout from river Wandle (where Admiral Nelson learned to fish dry fly) London's recovering urban chalkstream
Small stream stalking on the Thornton Beck North Yorkshire in lot 188
Also - historic lots like the "Compleat Angler" (lot 174) below:
A day’s guided flyfishing for 2 rods on the Beresford Dale beat of the River Dove, Derbyshire with a picnic in Charles Cotton’s
fishing house. Enjoy a day in pursuit of wily wild brown trout and grayling, following in the footsteps of Charles Cotton and
Izaak Walton on one of the most historic pieces of trout river in the world. Charles Cotton wrote about the art of fishing for
trout and grayling in a clear stream in the 17th century in an addendum to The Compleat Angler and built a fishing house on
the banks of the Dove in tribute to his friend and mentor, Izaak Walton. A unique opportunity to enjoy part of angling history.
Guided by Andrew Heath (Trent Rivers Trust) and Tim Jacklin (WTT). To be taken between April and Sept 2011
