Sorry to hear that. Unbeknown I just sent Larry a link to his "Coypu Mouse" today. Thoughts to you and his family for your loss.

I heard he was not feeling well earlier this year, but had no idea it was the "C".
He has been my inspiration for many years with my favorite SOFTHACKLE followed by the Gartside Gugler.
This is very sad news and he will surely be missed.
Prayers to the Family.

I watched a couple of Jack's videos just now, and he looked to be a really
nice man. I especially enjoyed watching him tie the Secret Sand Eel. A man
that can smile while facing adversity is quite a man....

It's a shame, I had the honor of meeting him just as I began tying flies, and learned a lot just from watching him that day. He was a great guy, approachable, and had a great sense of humor. He will truly be missed.

A timely quote from Jack that I ran across today

Quote:
I've always been very strong on story and plot. That's why I read and why I fish and why I live and why I play poker and why I drive a cab—for the surprise ending. Think of that passage in the Bible, 'O Lord, let me know the number of my days.' Wouldn't it be awful to know that?
