Great reel for the money, I use them for trout and light bass/panfishing. Sell them also. Keep it, it will last a life time.

I got an Okuma Magnitude 5/6 and I love it. The drag is as smooth as silk. My dad uses one and he landed an eleven pound steelhead with it.

I also have the Magnitude, it is my pyramid lake reel for my 6 weight. I am sure you will get lots of use out of it and it will last a long time.

I've owned several Okuma SLV reels. They're dandy, and Okuma does have
customer support that responds to phone calls. The SLV drag is extremely
smooth, and isn't bothered a bit if it takes a dunking. They're made in Taiwan,
and the price is pretty good considering that Taiwanese workers are paid
much than workers in China. I've dropped a couple 5/6 SLV's
off the roof of my car, and they survived with tiny scratches. I'm not as
clumsy anymore......

P.S. I should have mentioned that the SLV has a super wide drag range. The open
spool makes rinsing and drying quick and easy.

I picked up a SLV 4/5 this summer when I found myself short a rod and reel and in much need of one. I think its a great investment for the price and so just ordered a Okuma magnitude 7/8 for $30. Drag is good and dealing with any of its finer mechanics are straightforward. I certainly feel confident in mine. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours and I'm positive that if or when you decide to upgrade you will find yourself spending multiples of its value for a reel not terribly that superior.
