Default SA reconnect tapered leader?

Does anybody use this product? i started using them years ago, and I love them. I just keep retying tippet on the the end, but they work really good as a strike indicator. check them out, you might like them.

I was looking at them somewhere, they seemed to be pretty handy/simple. If I run across them again I will probably buy them to try. Thanks for the post!

I tried them out when they first were released. They work pretty well. I was hoping to hook into a fish that could break the connection. Unfortunately I hooked into 12" and smaller trout that day.

Reconnects are becoming are becoming harder to come by. Some of the larger chain stores may carry them, but most smaller local shops won't. With welded loops becoming the norm, Reconnects are now obsolete.

Welded loops may be becoming the norm as MP says (& with it, hinging on your cast), but the SA Reconnect Leaders are in my opinion still the best way to go. If MP's right that they are losing their market presence, at least my having a bunch of them in various leader sizes means that I've got them indefinitely, since when they've been used a lot, you can always cut them back to the butt and rebuild your own leader.

FWIW, one of my local Walmarts has them in their fishing clearance area for $1.50 each. I find them to be ideal for those of us with clumsy monkey-like fingers, especially with the addition of a tippet ring.
