Larry, you beat me to the punch!! I put this on a thread but will move it to here fancy large font and all.
  jbbfly or aka. Jean Paul is having his today all the way over in France  I wish I could take him salmon fishing today but that is not to be at this time. Perhaps some day my friend  JP is one of our major contributers here and I figure everyone has read a post from him. A teacher, a great fly fisherman, devoted family man, and a friend to many here on our forum, JP will one day come to fish America with his friends here and I can't wait He was hoping for delivery of a new rod today from the states and I hope you got it JP. Don't forget to get all the candles when you blow them out (and there will be a bunch) and have a wonderful day my friend!  Happy Birthday Jean Paul,

-Tom Wilson Attention New Fly Fishers and those just wanting to improve- Join a Fly Fishing Club. They have classes on every aspect of fly fishing for beginners to advanced for free or cheaper than offered elsewhere. Some offer mentor programs. You will make friends with other fly fishers. Clubs often have outings in which members pay special group rates for guides or to fish prime private access areas.

THANKS A LOT GUYS!!! Special thanks for my friends Larry one of the kindest guys I've ever met Dennis the guy who doesn't show off but is always here to help on the forum Allan....the only one I've met in flesh and who will be here again to fish in a few weeks. Ard...for writing such kind words...but that's his job Do hope I will come over and so that we can fish together Thanks Jimmie,Ant & Little. Before Fysh sees that post....  I'm 59 today...not 95ps:didn't get the rod today...but could catch some bows on the Quarrow
