Default Re: What would choose for a 5wt setup ??

Okay, bamboo would be the dream rod, but if I could only have one......it would be plastic for ALL purposes (wind, big flies, nymphing and dries)

For big western streams I would choose the sage XP 590 with the sage 3300 reel to match. The new cortland 555 dynatip actually floats unlike many lines out there.

- If you would like to sell gear and use this forum as a "Store Front" you must contact Steve prior to posting items for sale.

Sorry,
I wasn't selling any xp's. There is a local shop I could get anyone who wanted one in contact with.
