That one Joni's sporting looks about perfect. I'm a fan of shade that follows you around. The chin strap could come in real handy as well.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

Wide brimmed hat, long sleeve shirt, sun gloves and I use them all now. Cabelas has a pretty good selection of hats. I have several of he "crushable" vented canvas types that are pretty much bullet proof, but they have other types too.

My father had about 10-12 melanomas removed from his arms and hands about five to six years ago (he was 68 or so at the time). The doc's removed dime sized chunks each time and sent them in for the biopsy. They kept taking out the skin and flesh until the tests showed no more malignant cells. It wasn't a pleasant process for him and it taught me a major lesson. (sorry to get so graphic)

Wide brim felt crusher in winter. Breathable safari type hat in the heat of summer. Both are decorated with various fly patterns, none of which were placed there intentionally.

I fish year round, so in the winter I wear this. Lite Felt by Cripple Creek. Crush proof, water resitant and ear flaps fold up into the hat.

I guess you don't need the ear flaps there in Hawaii. Except maybe to block out those annoying birds, surf, etc.
