Default kept my first trout of the season....

18 inch brown from a secret spot... took it to my parents' house for a get-together... cooked it up... it was a fine meal. YUM.

don't worry.... there are a lot more 18 inchers and BIGGER where this hen came from.

Nice fish, and no hard feelings on donating a fish or two to the pot every once in a while, especially when there are plenty of others to take its place!

true.... the sad thing is, all these fat trout will most likely be winter killed.... they all got stuck in a pool after the run-off receded... deepest part of said pool is about 5 feet....
