Default Fly Fishing Movies

Who here has seen the movie A River Runs Through It? Besides that movie being a quality piece it is also such a cool movie because of all the fly fishing in it. What other movies do you guys like that have fly fishing in them?

Hmmmm....I do a quick search on YouTube each morning for fly fishing videos. Some of the videos are alright, some stink, and some are great. While they're
not movies, the great videos are equally entertaining for me. Some of the videos show epic battles with everything from trout to tarpon, and look very
professional.

Here's an EXCELLENT video. A young guy versus a large bull trout. It is truly an epic battle!

P.S. I don't want to give too much away, but this kid goes MUCH further to get his trout than Brad Pitt did when he jumped in the river. That was a walk in the
park compared to the lengths this guy had to go!

That was indeed an epic battle! What kind of fly do you think he was tying in the beginning?

I don't know, but at least he was tying a fly. Where was that in "RRTI"? That
movie was alright, but there's more genuine fly fishing in that one video above
than all of RRTI. I'm not a RRTI hater (I really liked it as a movie).

Not a movie, but when I was a kid I was a big fan of The Flying Fisherman TV show with Gadabout Gaddis.
He and the great Ted Williams ( American Sportsman and at sportsman show casting demos) were my fishing heroes and watching them fish had a great deal to do with why I fly fish to this day

Gee Frank, is that a wonder rod?
