Going to Kentucky Lake

I have a trip coming up this weekend to fish kentucky lake. I called some of the local shops and they are killing crappie on some kind of feathered swimbait(tackle shops owners words lol) but i have no clue as to what to tie as i am not much of a stillwater fisher. Hints and tips on patterns would be appreciated.

Re: Going to Kentucky Lake

maybe some beadchain marabou clousers, try some simple bucktail patterns, along those lines more than likely streamers for the most part. maybe even some muddlers if they are pushed up shallow.

Crappie like bright colors also. White/pink Pink/blue White/blue Pink/Chartreuse Red/Chartreuse
