Default GoPro Experiment

Joni gota GoPro2 HD for me for Christmas. So, since I had to work, she was able to take it out to Deer Creek Reservoir and try it out.
The video was a little longer, but I shortened it down. Used Sony Vegas Movie Platinum 11. You Tube tutorials and a week to experiment with the software. What da think
Edit: I don't know why there's 2, but try the one bottom one. It has the arrow button. BTW, it's the MIT Concert Choir doing the jamming.

Very cool.

I would like to add one bit of advise FROM MY PERSPECTIVE.

I love music on videos AS LONG AS it's mixed/blended with the actually sounds of what is going on.

I like to hear the wind, the talking, the sound of the fish splashing the surface when fighting.

Videos where someone is fishing and all I hear is music make me feel like I'm wearing ear plugs which I also quit using when shooting in favor of the electronic ear pro that attenuates loud noises. It's makes me feel claustrophobic, closed in and out of touch.

If I had to choose between music and real sounds, I would choose real sounds every time.

That being said.

The video quality and effects were great, I can't wait to see more.

I agree with the real sounds, but this water is right next to a highway that is cut next to the mountains. It's a beautiful lake, but a noisey one. Semi's,
Jake brakes= NOISE.

It looked good from here, I think I have the music but do remember the name of it. Starts with a C and is a 2 part name, was a contemporary Opera at the Arts Theater back east. I could get the name but would have to walk to the truck................. What is it

That makes complete sense.

I only meant it as my personal opinion since it's kind of a pet peeve of mine.

I also have a tendency to skip fly tying videos and practical shooting competition videos that only have music.

Oh, 4 Tuna. From Carmina Burana. You can hear them sing Oh 4 Tuna at the beginning. Couldn't find anything with trout in it.

This is one of the reservoirs (lower) that the Provo River aquiates (new word?)
The other rez is up from it along Highway 40 called Jordanelle. Upper Provo runs into it, the middle Provo comes out and when it hits Deer Creek Reservoir, the tailwater is the Lower Provo. Lot of water close by.

It's great! My daughter says that's pretty epic music lol. Is it a head mounted camera?

This was taken with the Chesty Mount. It goes around the upper body and shoulders. We have the head mount strap. All in all it's a cool camera.
We have the LCD Back too. Just want to get another battery and one more camera. That way I have one and Joni has one.

I'm building some pvc mounts for it. I got the tripod mount, but I'm redesigning some other mounts that I stole from others GoPro users. I want to build a couple simple effective mounts for the kickboats. Side shots and overhead shots. AND, make them all unsinkable (I plan to tether it anyway).

Mojo: Great movie, loved the music you added. Was that your fish finder attached to the left pontoon?

Larry, that's Joni and her boat, but yes it's the transducer, and her FF screen is in her left bag.
