Re: Somerset Show - Fly Casting or Tying Classes - Are They Worth it?
I attended a casting seminar with Bob Clouser a few years ago. He's a character in the same vein as Lefty. I'm not sure how much I learned, but I sure enjoyed being there.
I've had the opportunity to tie with quite a few of the fly fishing "personalities" (including A.K.) and I've always learned something.
Once at the Malborough show I got a chance to tie one on one with Jack Gartside, one of my fly fishing heros and an afternoon that I'll always remember
Plan out your day at the show in advance. Go to as many (free) seminars as you can.
