Default Need Boat Paddle help!!!

I need Boat Paddle help. First off I am 5' 6" & 3/4", with that out of the way the boat is a old fiberglass sidewinder style. I have tried a 4.5 Beaver Paddles & Oars brand (Aluminum T-handle) from Academy. Something was off maybe it was due to short arms and the boat zig-zag a lot from sitting in back of the boat. Next I took it back and got a Seasense Kayak paddle from Academy, ok that thing just left me wet from my jeans to my boots! Over all it did paddle better.

Which Paddle Shape & Type do I need?

The only thing different about this one is the handle shape.

East Texas.. I am confused. A boat 46 inches wide should support oar locks and oars. Canoes, J stroke and single bladed paddle. Kayaks, double bladed paddle and loose left hand grip that lets the paddle spin in the left hand. Drift boats, free oar locks that let you twist the oars to feather the blade edge through the rapids. Still water boat, possibly locking oars.

My boat paddle quest has ended!
The clear winner is The 60" Old Town Canoe Paddle with a wide blade. It moves the old boat quite good and defies the wind.
