Default Rods are Powerful these days!

In other threads we were discussing rod action and power and what it means to you. Here's a couple of questions that fall right into that but might help explain the terms a bit more. Sage came into being and immediately introduced a rod concept to many called "Reserve Power, " hence there RP, the RPL, RPLX and RPLXi rods that soon followed. Even other rods shared that power part, ie the XP and the SP rods that were soon on the market. What did, or do you understand that "reserve power," to be all about or did you figure it was just so much advertising fluff/buzz words? How about Lefty's and now TFO'sPower Matrix?

Whoops! I see that I posted this under General rather than Rods. Might be a good idea to move it.
