Default Question regarding a reel.

I inherited my great grand fathers reels and rod and am wondering what weight line the Olympic 460 is built for? Any help is appreciated.

Hi BM1,

What is the diameter and spool width? Generally a reel in the 3.5 inch diameter range is meant for 5 - 6 lines with some backing. The bigger the diameter & width the bigger the lines and backing capacity. I'm not familiar with this particular Olympic but have had a few some years back.
