Default The Madison – A River of Many Faces

Fly Fishing Internet Radio is hosting a show titled "The Madison – A River of Many Faces" this coming Wednesday, May 23 at 7 pm MST.
The guest speaker is Brian McGeehan who has been a professional fly fishing guide since 1995 and considers the rivers of southern Montana his home waters. Listen in to hear how to fish the Madison River - a river that will always challenge you and show you a different face at every turn.

Yes, the Madison can be a bit befuddling!! I fished it three days while in Montana and had a decent day, a spectacular day, and a very terrible day! Though the terrible day was not my fault (at least I like to think so). There were too many bugs...I think the trout were full! If they were eating subsurface I couldn't figure out what...6 hours, 3 fish, and at least 20 fly changes!

I've never fished the Madison but have heard the same thing from a number of different sources.
