Default Best Hour Yet!

So yesterday after work I figured I would head down to the river and fish for two hours before sundown. I went out and the river was skinny but there was not another soul around, which is just how I like it! I started out with just a size 14 EHC and didn't catch a thing. So I moved down the river a bit and put on a size 14 Pheasant Tail Nymph dropper. All of the sudden the fish just went nuts! I caught about 5 bass and a pretty big perch with a bunch of "long distance releases. On almost ever cast I had a hit! The only thing that made me end an hour early was that the river was rising at an alarmingly fast rate. But it was by far my best day in my short career yet!

Anyone else have those days where is seems like its harder to not catch a fish?

Here's two of the bass I caught...

I cannot say that I have ever had that problem before. Nice fish, great way to decompress. I usually do the same but I've never caught that many
