Default Hello, new to this forum

Greetings.

Looking forward to learning some more about this wonderful activity and, possibly contributing some. I've been fly fishing for about 10 years and am "hooked." Steelhead occupy most of my efforts, but I will fish anywhere given the opportunity. All catch and release.

Kind regards - redleg

Add my to the rest, which part of the US do you live? River looks like (what I imagine) a GL type of stream.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yes, the stream is NE Ohio. Amazing how thick the steelhead are there when the timing & conditions are right.

I'm contemplating a pursuit of Musky in Ohio soon...

Have also been on the Cedar River near Seattle, WA and done some salt water time for stripers off the coast of VA.

Kind regards - redleg

Well, if it is anything like the Steelheading in my area, and i imagine it is often, the Steelheaders are thicker than the fish.

Regardless, they are amazing fish to catch. I am jealous of your pike and musky fisheries however.
