Default Improvised Fly Box from Vintage Tin

Hello
I thought you might like to see a little fly box I made from an antique tin.
I used an old yoga mat to cut out the foamy parts.
I like the nostalgia and character of things old and repurposing them.
Plus the tin is of fruit bon bons which is what I like to think the flies are to the trout.

$4 homemade version of the CF slit foam fly box.

Board policy prohibits me from linking to the instructions for making the box above. However, if you google "Are you people sick and tired of spending astronomical dollars for a tiny box" and go to the first hit, you will find the instructions.

Over the years I've seen several examples of where someone has taken an 'old tin box' and made a fly box out of same. Each was a totally unique 'one off' for trout flies. Great 'Bits 'O Kit.
