I ended up getting to go and it was a good time. The event was small but they had a casting pond, tying tables, a huge bear in a tree and booths by Caltrout and TU as well as a couple of others. Doug O from Calvada fly fishing did a seminar on high sticking the Truckee and the F3T did a showing at the end.
The Olympic Village had an event going on as well so we broke away for a bit, had a bite to eat, grabbed some beers and listened to some live music. We headed back towards the end for a great showing of movies by the F3T crew and raffle.

the food- shrimp tostadas and some sweet potato fries

the raffle- I won an Orvis Access 9ft 5 wt rod and some gift cards to Mountain Khakis! Now I need to find a 5wt reel
All in all it was a good time and I will be there next year as well when it moves into the Village.

Chris: Congrats on winning the new Orvis fly rod! Looks like it was a great event even though it was on the small side.
