I've owned around 30 rods over my 18 years of fly fishing. I currently own 9, the other 21 have either been sold or broken.
7'9" 3wt Scott SCS - Mountain creek bushwhack rod.
8' 3wt Scott Eclipse - Spring creek presentation rod.
9' 3wt Loop Epic (funnest rod ever) - Small water nymphing rod (great for drys too).
7'11" 4wt Sage LL - Small water dry flies.
9' 4wt Loop Xact - Big water evening hatch rod, small water streamer rod (overlined)
10' 4wt Scott A4 - Serious nymphing rod.
8'6" 5wt Sage SLT - All purpose, big fish/small-medium water, small drys+big water.
9' 5wt Scott Eclipse - Drys, indicator nymphing, big fish/water/wind.
9' 6wt Scott G - Big drys, streamers, big fish/water.

I feel like a rookie after seeing others posts. Custon built 3, 5's, 6 wts. from MHX or generic blanks.
Over the weekend I added two more rods. Sage ZXL 386-4 and Sage Flight 590-4. Fished the ZXL both days and can't say enough about it for throwing dry flies and did well nymphing. Got the Flight for when I really need to launch my fly into the wind. Picked both up with 40% discount.

Added one more to the quiver, a 486 ZXL. Got a deal that I couldn't say NO to. Ever since I cast Chi's I knew I needed to get one. Sad to see this line go, but really pleased to be able to get one on closeout.

I am on a bamboo kick lately I have 5 boo rods with one I am working on and 2 more coming my way. On the graphite side I have 2 Scott A3 9ft 4 and 5wt, 1 Streamflex 10ft 3wt, 1 Greys Xflite 9ft 4 wt and 1 Reddington Red Eye 2 9ft 5wt -- I need to sell those 2 rods.

I need some sort of 7wt and then I think I am done until I work on another bamboo fly rod.

The Greys X-Flite 9' 4wt is an awesome rod! I had the same rod, it was great for tossing dries across glassy pools in the Catskills in NY. Definitely not a small water 4wt, but a powerhouse of a $250 rod.
