Should have left this alone. Started counting and have come up with one for each day of the month and oh yeah 3 in the car! After doing all this calculating I realize that the trip I'm making to Cabelas in the morning to get a rod to match up with a new reel I just got may be not really be necessary! Heck Im getting it anyway. The worst anyone can say is what they already know that I'm Passionate when it comes to our sport!

The worst part is every time I go to sell one I find an exuse like remember the fish I got in that one or the trip to wherever etc. Can't help it!

At least I donated some to the local Boy Scout Camp(does this mean I'm not a hoarder?)

This will be a good thread for participation, yes there have been Polls and other threads on the same subject but we have plenty of new members so a fresh thread is good

I actually will have to take an inventory before answering. I used only 1 rod from 1979 - 1995 but then sort of went off the rails with what I bought and also began using some that had been purchased and never used. I did have a reel collection but sold about 24 of them back in 2007 when the market price for the old Hardys hit the ceiling. Now I have just enough reels for the rods......almost,

I took a count, only 20 of them. There are 3 down in Colorado so that I don't have to transport rods when I visit there and 1 in Pennsylvania so they don't see use unless I go to those states. The rods that are here get used but for the past 3 years the Spey rods see more fishing than any others. I still collect them and just recently picked up a 1982 Orvis Limestone Special eight and one half foot 6 weight. I don't know when I'll use it but I always wanted one so.........

I have went through a lot of buying and selling of rods to find ones that I love to fish with. Right now I only have 3, which everybody knows isn't near enough. I really love fiberglass rods, and am looking to add more to the collection in the near future.

1. Scott F2 653-3. 6'6" 3wt fiberglass. My absolute favorite rod so far.
2. Cabela's CGR 359-3. 5'9" 3wt fiberglass. Great casting rod at a bargain price.
3. Sage Z-Axis 590-4. 9'0" 5wt graphite. Very versatile and casts a mean line.
