That is a Dai Riki 730 (2XL Nymph Hook) with a 2.5MM brass bead. I used size small copper wire, which is the size I am finding works best on 16's thru 20's

So, is that a 16? 18? Or 20? Ive got some 1/8" (3.175mm) and some 3/32" (2.38125mm) beads. That's a big difference, but I guess, the 1/8" would work for 12 & 14s, and the 3/32" would be good for the 16 thru 20s?

Thanks, that helps put it in perspective.

I've got both brassie and small wire, I'll have to tie some up and see if I can do these justice.
