Unique; I've never seen anything like it and as everyone else has already said, as masterful piece of carved art. It's also special in that it was made and presented in memory of his fishing friend. Your father-in-law must be a very special person.

Will Charles be putting up a website when he starts doing for sale work?

He will be. For now I think he would take orders on facebook until he has the capital to build a proper site.

That's absolutely beautiful. It would look very nice if it were prominently on display in a local library, courthouse or city hall, under glass, with a bronze plaque explaining the story behind it. I'm in awe.
