Default beulah fly rods

Has anyone ever used or heard of these rods? They have a purpose built 2 hand surf fly rod which looks interesting.

Im trying to find a rod/reel setup for bass fishing when im home in georgia and also surf casting in florida. My thoughts were that most places I bass fish I could easily cast a spey rod (golf course ponds and boats that I can easily stand up in) and I think it would be easier to spey cast from the surf than trying to single hand cast.

Any thoughts?

My newest rod is a Beulah Blue Water series 10/11wt. I've used them in the past, and they are sweet sticks. However, i do not know anything about the 2 handers

First of all they could have packed more info into a single captioned photo than they did in that video. I would think that any two hand rod would work. I'm betting that the difference is that it's primarily in the components so it's more salt proof.

Beula makes a great 2h rod but like any other company you should throw them all to find the rod that matches your casting stroke. I would give the same advice to anyone wanting to get advice on any rod no mater the mfg. There are so many differences in todays rods that throwing them is the only way to satisfy you needs.

You can over hand cast any 2hander, you just line same differently than you would for straight spey casting. Just be sure to give EVERYTHING a good fresh water bath when your done.
