I guess that I don't have any decent pictures of the home state, Connecticut, that would fit this thread so you'll have to settle for Cape Cod which is only a couple of hours distance.

These photos reminded me of West Virginia, then I saw they were taken in Pennsylvania. Great photos everyone.

No longer my home state in the proper sense but a state I'll always call home and a state in which I spent decades learning about the fish and places to fish.
This is the dream spot at my buddies cabin on the Manistee in the heart of the flies-only water. The older gent owned the cabin and the younger guy was a long time fishing buddy. Oh the good times we shared in the great state of Michigan.

I worked for a guy that had access to an old, very rustic cabin outside of Baldwin. He'd get a remodel job in the area every summer and we stay there for a couple weeks. We'd fish some evenings but usually just drive the dirt roads between Idlewild and Luther, drinking beer between roadhouse stops.

That cabin of your friend's is a gem! On the river even. Wow, great pics, thanks.
