Default Somerset Fly Fishing Show

Anyone going to the show? I've gone every year since the first one so hopefully the snow let's up here so I can hit it Sunday! Always some good stuff to see . One thing that always sticks out in my memories of the show is when Joan Wulff took my 10 year old daughter ( now 24) up to the casting area for some instruction! She still talks about it!

Damn it John, I forgot to call you and saw this post too late! We just left about half an hour ago.

The crew stopped for a pic with Bob Clouser. He signed their hats, and I asked him to sign the lumps on the back of my head courtesy of his handy work

It's always a great day, like a reunion every year. I dragged Nick Curcione and the new TFO Pandion two handed rod outside for about 45 minutes. Needless to say i just ordered one an hour ago

You wouldn't believe the bags of swag they come home with every year. Stickers, indicators, tying material, over a dozenn flies a piece. They really get treated like royalty. I did notice Lefty wasn't around, hope it was just a scheduling issue.

Yeah I didn't see him or Popovics either . But it was crowded and they could have been somewhere else. They treat the kids the best ! My kids all remember tying and casting there when they were young and they're all adults now
